For 2009 F1 Web Challenge, my team, Ruby Users of Minnesota, was paired with The Resource Center of the Americas with the goal of creating a fully functional web site in 24 hours. The Resource Center identified a CMS, event listings, a cleaner donation workflow, among other things as their priorities. My talents in HTML and CSS were put to use in converting the designers mock up to a web page. I also helped to bring Flickr photos into the site. Though we did not win the competition, our team was successful in implementing the requested feature set in a pleasing design.</p>
